Blog#48: Getting off the Not-So-Merry-Go-Round
Part One
During the early spring of 2020 David Icke re-entered my life big-time, and promptly proceeded to save it.
Over the course of the previous few weeks, vast numbers of people had been reduced to stress, anxiety, panic and fear, finding themselves terrified to touch a tin of beans in the supermarket for fear of it killing them. Many other people who, like me, felt there was 'something off' about the official story, were nevertheless confused. I, for one, was in dire need of a few rays of clarity to shine through the early spring fug and madness.
It's still vivid in my mind. April 6th 2020, early afternoon. The day was cool but bright, and the sun was warm enough to heat the conservatory to be able to sit there. I turned on the computer and waited. It was Rose/Icke 2, the now famous interview which got millions of views on YouTube before they took it down.
All around me were people shattered by panic, insecurity, self-elected prisoners in their own house, no longer able to think straight. Then David came on; it was phenomenal. I scanned his face for signs of worry, fear, uncertainty. Not a flicker. He sat solid, like an elephant. Firm, confident, immovable, just like an elephant. Or like Akshobhya Buddha, the immovable, the imperturbable.
For me, it was the turning point; life changed irreversibly. My wife walked casually by, before taking a seat to see what I was watching. Two hours later, she was still there, transfixed. Recalling that afternoon, those few precious hours of magic amidst the emotional and psychological devastation all around, still brings tears to my eyes.
Part Two
Two years on, and David Icke's understanding of reality moved up another gear. His new book 'The Trap' engrossed me, offering up plenty of fresh and new material. Vital, in my view. I wrote a little about it in the post 'Blog#39: David Icke and the Twin Flame', Oct 12th 2022.
He has continued to explore these themes since then in various places; below I link to an excellent interview he did recently with David Rodriguez and Laura Eisenhower (both of whom struggle to get a word in edgeways...!). And a couple of weeks ago I cobbled together a few notes on some of the main themes that he has been exploring. These are really a mixture of David's ideas and my own, related to what he has been talking about. I don't distinguish between them in my notes, but I present these jottings as pointers and as food for thought.
- Identity: Icke stresses that 'we' are not the physical body; this is not our prime source of identity. Instead we are infinite consciousness having a brief experience as Jane or Fred, or whoever else we turned up as this time round. If we alter this prime point of identity, then everything about how we perceive the world changes. Most of our fear, for example, will simply disappear.
David proposes a simple exercise. For one month, tell yourself this as you go about your everyday life: 'I am not my experiences. I am infinite consciousness having a brief experience in this physical body.' Do this for a month, properly and seriously, and you will feel different, your life will be different, he says.
- Cut off: There exists a demonic energy at work in the human world, interfering with it. The aim of this demonic energy is to cut human beings off from this connection to infinite consciousness. To make us identify solely with this physical body, this one life. From here, nothing else. This is what Icke calls the Trap...
My note: This is the purpose behind the invention of scientific materialism as the main driving force of modern human civilisation. It sees the world in precisely the manner that this demonic energy would wish us to do. It is a viewpoint, from what I know, pretty much unique to modernity. All other civilisations have had a sense of 'other', of' beyond', of 'something else that is real.'
- Frequency: Frequency is a key. The demonic energy lives in low frequency. It is disconnected from universal consciousness, whence can come energetic life and replenishment. It therefore requires another energy source for its survival. This is primarily low frequency energy, which it harvests from humans kept in suitable frequency bands through constant fear, anxiety, terror, depression etc. This is its source of food; loosh, as some people call it.
- Perception: Understanding the central role of perception is another key. Control perception and you control belief and behaviour. Perception plays a central part in determining what frequency people live on and manifest. Shape people's perception so that they are in a permanent state of fear and insecurity, and they will be generating low frequency energy. The dark energies behind the mayhem on Earth know all about this, so try their utmost to keep people in low frequency, and to conceal the reality about perception from them. This is an intrinsic aspect of the Trap.
- Very generally, there are two types of beings involved in humanity on Earth: those who want the best, and those who wish for fear, hatred, division etc to dominate. The nefarious entities are not (normally) seen by humans because they live just outside our band of frequency, which is extremely narrow, the frequency of visible light.
A personal note on this subject: Many people find it hard to consider the possibility of non-human interference in human affairs because we don't see any reptilians, greys, manifestations of AI, whatever. 'Where are they?' people ask. It's funny, that this lack of visibility seems to be such an obstacle, since much of what is generally believed in cannot be see either. Can you see electricity? Can you see the electromagnetic link between the wi-fi on the wall and your phone or laptop? Can you see a thought? Can you see a feeling? The answer to all of these questions is 'no'; yet it seems to offer no obstacle to believing in their reality.
- Reincarnation: The evidence for reincarnation is pretty overwhelming, partly in the form of people (especially children) who have verifiable memories of what happened before this lifetime. And it is also logical, once you recognise that you are essentially consciousness, not your physical body.
Icke maintains that the reincarnation process is part of the Trap. If you read about near-death-experiences (for example, I recommend 'The Wisdom of Near-Death Experiences' by Penny Sartori, a compassionate and courageous former nurse), you find elements that are common to many who have undergone such an experience. There is a tunnel which you should pass through; there are loved ones there to greet you, there are gods, goddesses, holy ones, ascended masters, etc, ready to welcome and instruct you; and there is the Light, the Clear White Light, which you are exhorted to follow.
We don't know what occurs beyond the tunnel and the Light because we only hear from people who have returned to this lifetime. Some return because they are told that it is not yet their time, they need to come back here because they still have things to learn. Icke pours scorn on this: we've been returning for 1000s of years, haven't we had enough time to learn??!!
The near-death state is frequently reported as being some kind of paradise, and some people are radically changed by the experience, no longer fearing death and facing the remainder of this life with a new perspective. This, however, (and sadly) is another facet of the Trap, designed to encourage the soul to surrender to and have faith in the system - a system which, eventually, merely regurgitates the soul back into the process of life-and-death, the wheel of life as it's called in Buddhism. We just go round and round and round, getting nowhere fast.
Another aspect of the process is amnesia. Most people completely forget their previous lives. You can read apologists for this, claiming that it makes this one lifetime and its learning experiences more real - you will take this lifetime less seriously if you know it's just a tiny part of your soul's great journey. But in truth the effects of this past lives amnesia are vicious. You start again from scratch; again, and again. It's like the game of Monopoly, where if you land on one square you are instructed to go straight back to Go, to the start, don't collect any money, begin going around the board again.
So all of this doesn't seem like a system designed by any benevolent entity. It is intended to keep the individual consciousness just going round and round instead of getting out of the trap of reincarnation altogether.
Another interesting point from reports of near-death experiences is how many people talk of meeting 'masters', authorities, such as Jesus, archangels, ascended masters and so on, who tell you what you have to do: to return, to finish your life work, whatever. They are authorities within hierarchies - it is just like life in the physical body, the same dynamic of authority and compliance. It's the same set-up, which strongly suggests that it's part of the matrix, the simulation, as is 3D life in physical existence. There is far more to matrix manipulation than just the deceptions within our material lives. And the solution in the between-lives time, the bardo, appears to be the same: don't go along with it. Just say no. This is the way to escape the rebirth wheel, the recycling process, to get off the not-so-merry go round....

And Icke isn't the only to talk about this. Not at all. For example:
